HAVE YOU SEEN THIS DOCUMENTARY FROM THE EPOCH TIMES? The Epoch Times is a news organization started by a group of Chinese businessmen in 2000 and they are no friend to China. They just released this documentary about the origin of Covid 19 and I must say, it's pretty compelling and seems to be very well researched. It does demonstrate that it is highly likely that this virus was created in a Chinese lab. It's an hour, but I think it's worth your time.
CHINA'S WET MARKETS ARE BACK OPEN And if the Chinese government truly believed that this virus came from a wet market this makes ZERO sense. But they are open.
AND THEN THERE ARE THE STATE DEPARTMENT EMAILS FROM TWO YEARS AGO That were leaked to the Washington Post showing serious concern about the Wuhan biological lab two years ago. From the story:
“During interactions with scientists at the WIV laboratory, they noted the new lab has a serious shortage of appropriately trained technicians and investigators needed to safely operate this high-containment laboratory,” states the Jan. 19, 2018, cable, which was drafted by two officials from the embassy’s environment, science and health sections who met with the WIV scientists. (The State Department declined to comment on this and other details of the story.)
The Chinese researchers at WIV were receiving assistance from the Galveston National Laboratory at the University of Texas Medical Branch and other U.S. organizations, but the Chinese requested additional help. The cables argued that the United States should give the Wuhan lab further support, mainly because its research on bat coronaviruses was important but also dangerous.
As the cable noted, the U.S. visitors met with Shi Zhengli, the head of the research project, who had been publishing studies related to bat coronaviruses for many years. In November 2017, just before the U.S. officials’ visit, Shi’s team had published research showing that horseshoe bats they had collected from a cave in Yunnan province were very likely from the same bat population that spawned the SARS coronavirus in 2003.
This definitely gives credence to the Epoch Times documentary, imo.
THERE WILL BE NO RENT MORATORIUM The Governor firmly shot down plans by the Denver City Council to force a "rent moratorium" of 90 days onto landlords. It sounds like a wonderful plan unless you think about people who gain their entire income from rental properties they hold mortgages on. If you can't pay your rent, call your landlord and see if they can work with you. If you're a landlord, try to work with your tenants as best you can. There you go.
THIS IS A BIG CHANGE FOR THE SUPREMES The US Supreme Court has long refused to allow audio broadcast of any kind of it's hearings or arguments. Covid 19 has changed that. The Supremes will hear arguments via telephone and will allow the audio to be broadcast. This is really cool, I've always wanted to hear how these arguments to.

I get where he was going in the rest of the press conference trying to explain to the press that the Administration was going to issue guidelines for re opening the economy. That being said, this was just a dumb, dumb thing to say. The reason I am not going to pile on is he referenced other Constitutional issues with the government response, so he KNOWS about the Constitution, I think he was just sick of being challenged by a reporter on it. But it was still really, really dumb.

IF theaters get to re open by the summer it may be enough to help them overcome the potential loss of the Memorial Day openings, but as theaters have been struggling I'd be looking for creative ways to bring people back if I owned one.
