Colorado state lawmakers have voted unanimously to rename a portion of a highway after the student who died defending his classmates during last year's shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch. C-470 between University Boulevard and Santa Fe Road will be called the Kendrick Castillo Memorial Highway. Castillo would have turned 19-years old this week. One of the students involved in the shooting has pleaded guilty to his murder, while the other will go to trial.
