Federal Worker Under Self-Quarantine After Possible Exposure To Coronavirus

A worker at the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood is undergoing a self-quarantine after learning of a possible exposure to coronavirus. The employee of the Office of Natural Resources Revenue learned of the possible exposure yesterday. Because the exposure happened 12 days ago, the employee will stay home for two days to meet the 14-day quarantine requirement. Officials say the employee has shown no symptoms of the virus so far. There is also a substitute teacher with the Boulder Valley School District under quarantine.

At Denver International Airport, precautions are being taken to prevent the possible spread of the illness. Hand sanitizer and other items are available to help travelers disinfect.
