Larimer County Woman Arrested For Perjury In Red Flag Case

A woman wanted for allegedly committing perjury in filing a red flag petition against a police officer is now in custody in Larimer County. Sheriff's deputies arrested Susan Holmes yesterday on suspicion of perjury and attempting to influence a public official. Holmes filed a petition for an extreme risk protection order early last month against CSU police officer Phillip Morris. Morris killed Holmes' son in 2017 in a shooting ruled justified by the Larimer County district attorney. Investigators say Holmes falsely claimed in the petition that she and Morris were related through a child they shared.
