A fire at an oil production site near weld county road 38 and weld county road 35. Firefighters found heavy fire and smoke coming from a building onsite that houses a generator. Fire crews encountered flames 20-30 feet high, 50-60 feet wide. Fire crews rapidly set up water tender operations to supply water to firefighting apparatus. Due to the heavy fire, firefighters took a defensive fire attack approach to begin fire cooling measures. Specialty foam trailers are being called in to assist in putting out the fire. Over a dozen fire and ems apparatus are on scene with over 2 dozen firefighters on scene battling the fire.
