A 33-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison for the stabbing murder of his girlfriend. Joshua Kane was sentenced in Jefferson County after being convicted of killing 23-year-old Nicole Lindsey in Wheat Ridge last summer. Kane had moved into Lindsey's apartment, uninvited, about a month and a half before the murder. Lindsey had told family and friends she didn't want Kane living with her.
