Man Arrested for Denver Mosque Threat

Benjamin Casillas-Rocha, 24, is being held by Denver Police for investigation of felony menacing. A police report says he showed up at the parking lot of the Islamic Center in Denver three times on Thursday. On the third time, he appeared to be armed with an assault rifle with a banana clip. He made anti-Muslim and threatening remarks and then left

Police found Casillas-Rocha at a nearby house. After obtaining a warrant, they found an airsoft assault rifler inside.

The Denver District Attorney's Office will evaluate the evidence and more charges could be filed against Casillas-Rocha.
