AN AMBASSADOR CHANGES HIS MIND AND TUNE ON QUID PRO QUO After testifying on Capital Hill for like 100 hours, Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland SUDDENLY remembered a completely DIFFERENT version of events and amended his testimony in writing to completely contradict what he had testified to just days before. Specifically he is now testifying that he DID think Trump engaged in quid pro quo and that Ukraine aid WAS dependant on an investigation into Hunter Biden and Joe Biden's role in getting a prosecutor investigating a company his son worked with fired. And Sondland was a Trump donor and appointee so it's hard to imagine this is politically motivated. I'm still not sure that this rises to the level of anything more than a campaign violation, which is handled with fines. We'll see.
YES, PERSONALIZATION HAS FAILED US And this tech article is specifically talking about how algorithms that are used by tech companies to "personalize" our listening or shopping experiences don't work well and are really just ways to scoop up and sell/share our data for marketing purposes.
