ICE Official Blasts Sanctuary Cities

The acting field director for ICE says 42 illegal immigrants in Colorado and Wyoming were recently arrested by his officers . John Fabbricatore claims some had criminal records, were facing criminal charges or were facing final deportation orders. He says ICE requests to have criminal, illegal immigrants held in jail were routinely declined by so-called sanctuary cities such as Denver and Boulder. He says dangerous people are allowed back on the streets and the practice makes it harder for ICE to enforce immigration laws.

At a news conference he said ICE doesn't want local cops to enforce immigration laws but it could use help detaining criminal, illegal immigrants until ICE can process them.
