Longmont police have arrested an arson suspect after a fire at Budget Home Supply last night. An arrest affidavit says firefighters encountered a man inside the business, lighting fires. The man tried to run, but firefighters tackled him and dragged him outside, where he was arrested. Police say Michael Schrodt, 54, will be charged with first-degree arson and second-degree burglary, among other charges.
