Open Space and Mountain Parks reopens Boulder Falls
The City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks Department has reopened Boulder Falls west of the city following the completion of several repairs to the trail. Repairs included the building of additional stairs, installation of rails along the Boulder Falls Trail and fence construction along the highway. Hikers are encouraged to remain on trail while visiting this popular Boulder location.
Visitors are also encouraged to check the Colorado Department of Transportation’s website to plan any visits to OSMP locations accessible from Boulder Canyon, including Boulder Falls and Chapman Drive, because of ongoing road construction in Boulder Canyon.
