Lightning has started a wildfire in Waterton Canyon. About 50 firefighters from West Metro Fire are responding. Jefferson County and Denver Water have closed Waterton Canyon to the public. Two helicopters are working that fire, it is just south of Lockheed Martin. Initially, fire crews said the fire was the size of two football fields.
