>School Where Deadly Shooting Occurred May Have Charter Reduced

The STEM school where a deadly shooting took place earlier this year may have its charter reduced to one year due to safety concerns. The Douglas County School Board will hear the proposal at its meeting tonight. STEM School Highlands Ranch received a three-year charter from the school board in January. However, the May 7th shooting that left one student dead has caused the board to consider reducing the charter to one year and imposing new terms and conditions on the school.
