Jamie, Jomo and MORE on this FRIDAY!

JAMIE GIELLIS WANTS TO BE DENVER'S MAYOR And she's on at 3pm today to discuss her ACTUAL stance on Initiative 300 and some of the missteps her campaign has endured since beginning the runoff campaign. For the record, she came out AGAINST 300 when she was on my show May 2nd, check it out for yourself here.

JOMO AND POSSUM POSSE ARE IN STUDIO TODAY! Who is Jomo and the Possum Posse? They are the geniuses who brought us this:

And this

Oh but there's more

and the finale

They are at the Walnut Room tonight, buy your tickets here. They are actually really good roots rock with super clever lyrics. Buy their new album by clicking here.

WILL THE DEMOCRATS OWN THE CRISIS THEY'VE CREATED AT THE SOUTHERN BORDER? As soon as it became apparent that the Dems under Nancy Pelosi were more concerned with not ever, ever, ever, giving President Trump ANYTHING that could be construed as a "win" than they are about securing our nation, the race has been on. Illegal immigration is out of control, with Texas setting a new dubious record for illegal immigration. Trump is using everything at his disposal to stem the tide and now that includes tariffs on Mexican goods. Will it work? We'll see.

MERYL STREEP IS RIGHT ABOUT THIS ONE The notoriously left wing actress has come out against the notion of "toxic masculinity" and I couldn't agree more. This move to criminalize "boy" behavior is preposterous. And she's damn right when she says women can be "pretty f*cking toxic" too. I applaud her for running against the crowd on this one.

SAN FRAN NAN WON'T COMMIT TO "IMPEACHMENT" And just watch Jimmy Kimmel try AGAIN AND AGAIN to get her to say they are impeaching the President.

ATTORNEY GENERAL BILL BARR TALKS ABOUT MUELLER And in this interview with CBS News he says he believes that Mueller could have come to a conclusion about criminal activity even if he couldn't indict. Which makes sense. You should click here and read the transcript. Here is my favorite part which I think is absolutely the most important part which is a response to a question about spying not always being bad:

WILLIAM BARR:Whether it's adequately predicated. And look, I think if we -- we are worried about foreign influence in the campaign? We should be because the heart of our system is the peaceful transfer of power through elections and what gives the government legitimacy is that process. And if foreign elements can come in and affect it, that's bad for the republic. But by the same token, it's just as, it's just as dangerous to the continuation of self-government and our republican system, republic that we not allow government power, law enforcement or intelligence power, to play a role in politics, to intrude into politics, and affect elections.

High five on that one.

A SIXTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL IS FACING CHILD PORN CHARGES FOR BEING STUPID And these stories make me CRAZY because we now have a culture where 16 year old girls make videos of themselves performing sex acts and then SEND THEM TO THEIR FRIENDS. For one young lady, this has lead to criminal charges.

NO, SCHOOL DISCIPLINE ISN'T RACIST. The Obama administration implied that black kids got suspended more often than white kids because racism. A new series of studies shows that black kids get suspended more often because of their behavior. Read this.

EIGHT KIDS OUTLASTED THE SPELLING BEE TO WIN That's right, the Spelling Bee RAN OUT OF WORDS so the last eight standing all won. I'm cool with that.

COMMON CORE IS AN EPIC FAILURE THAT IS HURTING KIDS And it's time for Colorado to simply stop using it as any sort of reference. It's bringing down test scores officially. b

BIG UPS TO THE GOVERNOR OF NEVADA Because he vetoed the ridiculous National Popular Vote Bill that we passed here in Colorado. And he's a Democrat! From his statement on the veto:

“After thoughtful deliberation, I have decided to veto Assembly Bill 186,” Sisolak said in a statement. “Once effective, the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact could diminish the role of smaller states like Nevada in national electoral contests and force Nevada’s electors to side with whoever wins the nationwide popular vote, rather than the candidate Nevadans choose.”
“I recognize that many of my fellow Nevadans may disagree on this point and I appreciate the legislature’s thoughtful consideration of this important issue,” he added.

Why does he get it but our Governor doesn't?
