A man allegedly threatening people with a large knife was shot by Lakewood police Monday afternoon. The man was taken to the hospital, and his condition is not known. Police say the man was initially at Fourth and Harlan, and that they caught up with him at Fourth and Sheridan.
Police did not say why the man may have been threatening people, but did say police first tried to tase the man.
No officers were reported hurt.
