The Denver Broncos now know what is ahead.
Wednesday, the NFL released its full 2019 regular season schedule.
The Broncos will open the season on Monday Night Football, taking on the Raiders in Oakland on September 9.
Along with their home and away games against AFC foes the Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers, the Broncos will take on teams from the NFC North.
They will host the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions and play at the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers.
The Broncos will also play AFC teams the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars.

BRONCOS’ 2019 SCHEDULE RELEASED BY NFL
ENGLEWOOD, Colo.— The Denver Broncos’ 2019 regular-season schedule was released by the National Football League on Wednesday.
The Broncos will start their regular season on the road for the first time in nine years (since 2010) when they play the Oakland Raiders on Monday Night Football(Sept. 9)at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum (7:20 p.m. PDT, ESPN/KTVD-20). Denver, which has won its last seven openers, owns the NFL’s best all-time record in Week 1 (39-19-1 / .669).
“[Oakland] will be an important division game for us,” Head Coach Vic Fangio said. “They have improved their team with their offseason moves up to this point and they have a bunch of draft picks here coming up. That will be a big challenge going out there.”
This will also be the 28th consecutive season Denver will be appearing on Monday Night Football—tied with the Raiders (1970-97) for the longest streak in league history.
Denver’s home opener will take place in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears at Broncos Stadium at Mile High on Sunday, Sept. 15 (2:25 p.m. MDT, FOX). In addition to coaching in his Broncos regular-season home debut, Fangio will be facing the team for which he worked as defensive coordinator during the last four years.
“We know every year there seems to be a last-to-first story. We were that in Chicago last year. I suppose a lot of teams counted us as a win last year. Every season is a new season and the order they choose for us to play them in, we’ll play them in.”
The Broncos will play their second consecutive opponent from the NFC North in Week 3 when they travel to play the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Sept. 15 (12 p.m. CDT, FOX).
A Week 4 home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Sept. 29 (2:25 p.m. MDT, CBS) will be followed by a divisional road contest against the Los Angeles Chargers at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sunday, Oct. 6 (1:05 p.m., PDT, CBS).
Denver will play its first set of back-to-back home games in Weeks 6-7, hosting the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Oct. 13, (2:25 p.m. MDT, CBS) and the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, Oct. 17 (6:20 p.m. MDT). The Thursday Night Football game against the Chiefs will be broadcast by FOX along with a simulcast on NFL Network and Amazon.
The Broncos will travel to play the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8 on Sunday, Oct. 27, at Lucas Oil Stadium (4:25 p.m. EDT, CBS) before returning home to host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Nov. 3 (2:25 p.m. MST, CBS).
Following their Week 10 bye, the Broncos will play four of their next five games on the road.
“[To win on the road], you’ve got to be able to play good defense, especially early in the game when the home team is excited, the stadium is at a fever pitch and the noise is a factor,” Fangio said. “The defense has to hold the fort down in case the offense is struggling early. You’ve got to be able to pack your defense on the road to get that done.”
Weeks 11-12 feature back-to-back road games against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Nov. 17, at U.S. Bank Stadium (12 p.m. CST, CBS) and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Nov. 24, at New Era Field (1 p.m. EST, CBS).
Denver will close out its season series with the Chargers at Broncos Stadium at Mile High on Sunday, Dec. 1 (2:25 p.m. MST) before its second set of back-to-back road contests: against the Houston Texans on Sunday, Dec. 8, at NRG Stadium (12 p.m. CST, CBS) and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Dec. 15, at Arrowhead Stadium (12 p.m. CST, CBS).
The Broncos will host the Detroit Lions in Week 16 on either Saturday, Dec. 21, or Sunday, Dec. 22. The date, time and network for their game against the Lions will be determined by Week 8.
Denver will close out the regular season at home against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, Dec. 29 (2:25 p.m. MST, CBS).
In accordance with the NFL’s flexible scheduling plan, all game times for Sundays in Weeks 5-17 are subject to change.
Along with the announcement of the regular-season schedule, the Broncos have finalized the dates and times for four of their five preseason games.
Denver opens the preseason against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, Aug. 1, in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio (Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, 8 p.m. EDT, NBC).
The Broncos’ first true road game will be against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, Aug. 8, at CenturyLink Field (7 p.m. PDT). Their initial home contest will take place on Monday, Aug. 19, against the San Francisco 49ers (6 p.m. MDT, ESPN).
Denver will close out the preseason with a road game against the Los Angeles Rams at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (Aug. 22-25; exact date and time TBD) followed by a home game against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday, Aug. 29 (7 p.m. MDT).
The Broncos have an agreement with 9NEWS/KTVD-20 to televise the club’s preseason games locally for the ninth consecutive year.
For the 50th consecutive season, KOA NewsRadio (850 AM & 94.1 FM) will broadcast all Broncos games as the team’s flagship radio station. The Fox (103.5 FM) will simulcast games for the seventh consecutive year along with the more than 70 Broncos Radio Network affiliates located throughout the Rocky Mountain West. Additionally, Denver’s Spanish radio home of the Broncos, KNRV (1150 AM), will broadcast all home and away games for the third consecutive year.
