One could only hazard a guess as to what a 28-year-old man was thinking last fall. Jason Cuervo, 28, of Grand Junction, was sentenced Tuesday to three years in Community Corrections after stealing a snow-cat painted like the General Lee car from the T-V show "Dukes of Hazzard."
Cuervo towed the snow-cat from a restaurant parking lot in Minturn to his home in Grand Junction. Police also found a snowmobile, which Cuervo admitted to stealing from the same parking lot in Eagle County. The district attorney says Cuervo has an extensive criminal history, and has struggled with drug use.
