Mayor Hancock says a snowy winter has left Denver streets with cracks and potholes. He says crews will be filling potholes from now until the Fall, They could fill as many as 100,000 of the road craters.
Citizens can call 3-1-1 or use the city's pocket government app to report potholes. Denver Public Works says once a pothole is reported, they'll have it filled within 72 hours.
On Wednesday, the Mayor tried his hand at filling a pothole on 23rd Avenue. He praised city workers who work the pothole patrol. Each of them will personally fill about ten thousand potholes this year.
