Grand Junction Voters Sign Petitions On Referendum On Popular Vote Bill

Efforts to overturn a measure that would give Colorado's Electoral College votes to the winner of the national popular vote are getting underway. Opponents of the measure gathered signatures from voters in Grand Junction Saturday. The hope is to get enough signatures to put a statewide ballot question overturning the measure in front of voters next year. The group behind the effort hopes to have 200-thousand signatures before the August 1st deadline.
