King Soopers New Offer in Contract Talks

King Soopers is using a bold tactic for its upcoming union negotiations. It has publicly released details of its new contract offer. King Soopers spokesman Adam Williamson says the offer includes an additional $117.5 million for wages, health care and pension benefits. Negotiations resume tomorrow with the United Food and Commercial Workers Union in Denver. About half of the King Soopers and City Market workers in Colorado are union members.
