Colorado U.S. Senator Cory Gardner wants to put money back into the pockets of furloughed federal workers. He's set to introduce legislation today which will appropriate funding to allow government employees to be paid during the ongoing partial shutdown. Gardner says while both sides continue to work toward a solution, federal workers shouldn't be deprived of pay. The additional funding would be deducted from the budgets of various departments once the shutdown ends.
