Denver Public Schools teachers have voted to strike. Teachers' lead negotiator Rob Gould says 93-percent of voting DPS teachers voted to walk out. It's the first time Denver teachers will have struck since 1994. Their first day off the job is expected to be Monday. The district says schools will remain open, staffed by substitute teachers and administrators.
