It's a mixed report card for the City of Denver when it comes to meeting some of its safe street goals. Overall, Denver earned a low C for its progress in eliminating traffic-related deaths through the Vision Zero Action Plan. The Denver Streets Partnership praised the city for adding nearly 20 miles of bike lanes but said not enough was being done to repair sidewalks, calm traffic and add more advanced pedestrian crosswalks. The goal of the Vision Zero Action Plan is to reduce traffic-related deaths to zero by 2030.
