Alpine Bank Helps Furloughed Federal Workers

Alpine Bank is offering furloughed federal workers in Colorado a quick way to get some money during the government shutdown.  Workers can get a no interest line of credit equivalent to a month's pay.  After the government reopens they will have six months to pay back the loans.

Loan applications can take 15 to 45 minutes to process. Once the account is opened, applicants will have immediate access to the money.

Alpine Bank has set aside $5 million dollars for this special loan program. You do not have to have an existing account at the bank to apply for one of these loans.  No collateral is required but you do need  proof that you are furloughed and have records of how much you earn per pay period.

Alpine Bank has 40 branches throughout Colorado. You can learn more at www.alpinebank.com
