A Denver woman has turned herself in to police after a child was found dead in a storage unit. While following up on reports from Aurora Police about a missing child, the body of a 7-year-old boy was found in a storage unit at Evans and Dahlia in Denver. Elisha Pankey, 43, is believed to be the mother of the boy. Pankey is now being held for investigation of child abuse resulting in death. The Denver Medical Examiner has not released a cause of death. The child's body was found on the Sunday before Christmas, December 23rd.
