The newly created Center for Colorado Women's History has opened inside the Byers-Evans House Museum in Denver. The Center will showcase the achievements of women throughout the history of Colorado. Center Director Jillian Allison says "We are committed to a women's history that is completely inclusive and not separated by race, class, religion, gender and disability, which represents Colorado's diverse population and curious culture."
The Center will feature exhibits but will also offer lectures, discussion groups and book clubs.
The Center for Colorado Women's History is located inside the historic Byers-Evans House at 1310 Bannock Street in Denver.
