Survive and advance.
That's what the Colorado St. Rams did in a 53-51 win over Utah St. in the Mountain West Conference quarterfinals Thursday night in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Chandler Jacobs hit a layup with 1.8 seconds left to give the Rams the win. That basket came after CSU guard Kendle Moore drew a charging foul to get the ball back for CSU.
Isaiah Stevens led Colorado St. with 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists. David Roddy had 13 points and 6 rebounds.
The Rams are now 25-4 while the Aggies are 18-15.
Colorado St. will play San Diego St. in Friday's semifinals. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:59 p.m. MST.
