The Colorado Buffaloes women's basketball team made some history on Sunday in Los Angeles.
The Buffs defeated USC, 67-54, marking the first time they have ever swept UCLA and USC on the same road trip.
Interestingly enough, the Buffs also beat UCLA by the same 67-54 score on Friday, February 18.
Colorado started well and led 19-12 after one quarter. The Buffs kept the pressure on and by the end of the third quarter, they were up 54-38.
Senior Mya Hollingshed led CU with 16 points and six rebounds. Quay Miller added 13 points off the bench.
The Buffs have won four of their last five games. They have two regular season games remaining before beginning Pac-12 Tournament play on Wednesday, March 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
