Chalk up another big, dramatic win for the Colorado State Rams.
CSU rallied in the second half to come up with a 77-74 overtime win on the road against the Mountain West conference-leading Boise St. Broncos on Sunday.
Each team had a big run in the first half and CSU led 39-37 at intermission.
In a competitive second half, the Rams rallied from a 61-54 deficit with 9:26 to go. Eight straight points gave CSU a one-point lead and it was tight the rest of the way.
Marcus Shaver Jr. of Boise St. hit a three-pointer to tie the game at 67 with eight seconds left to force overtime but the Rams were up to the challenge in the extra session.
The game was tied at 69, 71, 73 in overtime before Colorado State senior David Roddy scored in the paint to give the Rams a 77-75 lead with 29 seconds left.
After a Broncos free throw, CSU's Isaiah Stevens made it 77-74 with a pair of free throws with four seconds remaining.
Roddy then blocked a desperation three-pointer by Shaver Jr. with two seconds left to seal the win.
Roddy finished with 18 points (7-12 from the field) and seven rebounds. Guard Chandler Jacobs dropped in 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Stevens had 14 points and five assists.
CSU is now 20-3 this year, 10-3 in the Mountain West Conference. Boise St. is 19-6, 10-2.
Colorado St. will be at New Mexico on Thursday, February 17 at 7 p.m. MST.
