Cougars Rout Buffs, 70-43

This one was never close.

Sunday, the Washington St. Cougars made it look all to easy in a 70-43 rout of the Colorado Buffaloes in Pullman, Washington.

Washington St. jumped up 23-6 in the first ten minutes and never looked back. The Cougars were up 39-18 at halftime.

Colorado could never find the offense, shooting only 28.6% from the floor on 16-of-56. WSU lit it up, hitting 56.5% of its shots (26-53).

Forward Jabari Walker was the only Buff in double figures with 11 points and he added eight rebounds.

Colorado was without starters Elijah Parquet and Tristan da Silva due to injury and illness, respectively.

Colorado wraps up its three-game road trip 1-2 and is now 13-8, 5-6 in Pac-12 play, Washington St. is 12-7, 5-3.
