The Colorado Avalanche is not playing its best hockey.

But the Avs are still winning.

Another case in point was Saturday at Ball Arena. The Avs did what they needed to and defeated the Montreal Canadiens, 3-2 in overtime.

The win extended the the Avs home winning streak to 15 games.

Gabriel Landeskog scored the game-winning goal at 1:16 of OT to give the Avs the two points.

Alex Newhook and Valeri Nichushkin each scored a goal as well.

Avs goalie Darcy Kuemper was really good again, making 28 saves and allowing only a pair of goals.
