Wednesday night, the Denver Nuggets got too much of the Bojan Bogdanovic and too much of the Utah Jazz in a 115-109 loss to their Northwest division rival.
Bogdanovic poured in a season-high 36 points and the Jazz won their 10th consecutive road game and raised their road record to 14-3. They haven't lost away from Salt Lake City since November 7.
The Jazz took a one point lead into halftime and then outscored the Nuggets 31-22 in the third quarter to build the lead to double figures.
Utah made 14-of-41 shots (34.1%) from beyond the three-point arc and had an answer every time the Nuggets got close in the second half. Overall, Utah shot 46.7% (43-92) from the field.
The Nuggets were actually better than that from the floor, hitting 42-of-88 shots (47.7%), Denver was 11-36 (30.6%) from three-point range.
Nuggets center Nikola Jokic had another huge triple-double with 26 points, 21 rebounds and 11 assists. Monte Morris returned from health and safety protocols and scored 20 points. Will Barton also added 20 points.
The Nuggets close out their quick two-game homestand against the Sacramento Kings on Friday, January 7 at 7 p.m. MST.
