The Denver Nuggets almost let another game slip away.

But unlike Thursday night against Charlotte, the Nuggets had enough to put away the Los Angeles Clippers, 103-100, Thursday night at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

After blowing a 19-point lead against the Bobcats on Thursday and losing 115-107, the Nuggets saw the Clippers rally from 17 points down and Los Angeles had a 91-82 advantage with 9:04 remaining.

But this time, the Nuggets pulled it out, thanks to an 11-2 run over the next 4:13.

Denver took the lead on a three-pointer by Nikola Jokic, 96-94. Despite pushing the lead to 101-95 with 1:53 to go, the Nuggets had to hold on at the end. Davon Reed played good defense on Brandon Boston Jr., who missed a three-pointer at the end of regulation that would have sent the game to overtime.

Jokic finished with 26 points and 22 rebounds and eight assists. Reed added 15 points off the bench, making 6-of-8 shots from the field, including 3-of-4 from three-point range.

The Nuggets next play at the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, December 28 at 8 p.m. MST.
