Friday night it was more of the same for the Denver Nuggets.
They lost to the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks, 120-109. It was the Nuggets sixth consecutive defeat.
They haven't won since beating Portland on November 14.
The Bucks shot very well, going 16-33 (48.5%) from three-point range. They umped out to a 27-16 lead after one quarter and the Nuggets were playing catch-up all night.
Will Barton's triple with 7:37 left in the third quarter pulled the Nugget to within 68-63 but the Bucks responded with a 13-5 run that Giannis Antetokounmpo capped with a dunk with 4:13 remaining in the quarter.
From there, the Bucks increased their lead to 90-73 after three quarters.
Aaron Gordon led the Nuggets with 18 points and added nine rebounds. Barton chipped in 17 points and nine boards but was only 2-13 from three-point land.
Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 24 points and 13 rebounds.
