Nuggets Struggle In 103-89 Loss To 76ers

Simply put, it was a really rough night for the Denver Nuggets.

The Philadelphia 76ers snapped their five-game losing streak by handing it to the Nuggets, 103-89, at Ball Arena Thursday night.

The loss snapped Denver's six-game home winning streak.

Philadelphia outscored Denver 29-17 in the third quarter and that enabled the 76ers to lead by 18 points after three.

Nuggets head coach Michael Malone picked up consecutive technical fouls in the quarter and was ejected.

The Nuggets could not get much going all night long. They shot only 36% from the field.

Nuggets center Nikola Jokic led the club with 30 points but scored only three in the second half.
