The Colorado had live BP/a simulated game Sunday at Summer Camp as they continue to prepare for their season opener at the Texas Rangers on Friday, July 24.
Third baseman Nolan Arenado spoke with reporters and said he came returned from the shutdown prepared to play in games. He also talked about the Rockies needing to get off to a good start once the season begins.
Manager Bud Black talked about many of the pitchers, including relievers Wade Davis, Jake McGee and Bryan Shaw. Bench coach Mike Redmond has been owkring as the Rockies umpire during intrasquad games. He talked about that experience, the catching position and more.
