Friday, the Denver Broncos added another piece to the offense, selecting Penn. St. WR/Returner K.J. Hamler in the second round, 46th overall.
Hamler caught 56 passes as a junior in 2019, good for 904 yards and eight touchdowns. He also averaged 21.4 yards on kickoff returns and 5.5 yards per punt return last season.
He is 5'9", 176 pounds and possesses top-end speed but did not run the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine due to a hamstring injury, which he says is fully healed.
Hamler joins WR Jerry Jeudy from Alabama as the Broncos top two draft picks in 2020.
Hamler spoke with Ryan Edwards, Benjamin Allbright and Brandon Krisztal on KOA NewsRadio.
Hamler also spoke with Denver reporters.
