Yet again, Shelby Harris came through when it mattered most for the Denver Broncos.

Harris batted down Derek Carr's two-point conversion pass with seven seconds left in the game and preserved the Denver Broncos 16-15 win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday in the season finale for both teams.

The Raiders got to within one point on Carr's three-yard touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow. But Harris, who leads all NFL defensive lineman in pass break-ups this season with ten, got it done yet again and sent the Broncos to their fourth win in the last five games since Drew Lock became the starting quarterback.

The Broncos defense, while giving up some big plays and 477 yards of total offense to the Raiders, was terrific in the red zone, allowing Oakland only one touchdown in six trips.

That kind of effort helped offset a subpar game by the Broncos offense, which could only muster 16 points and 238 yards of offense.

Nonetheless, the Broncos found a way to win.

Quarterback Drew Lock completed 17-of-28 passes for 177 yards and a one-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Beck.

Running back Phillip Lindsay had 53 yards rushing and finished the season with 1,011. He joins Bobby Humphrey, Terrell Davis and Clinton Portis as the only Broncos running backs to have back-to-back seasons of 1,000 or more rushing yards.

The Broncos close out the season with a 7-9 record.
