The Kansas City Chiefs were too much. And they showed it on Sunday.

The Chiefs handled the Denver Broncos, 23-3, in the snow at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Chiefs quarterback Mahomes threw a pair of touchdown passes to Tyreek Hill while Broncos quarterback Drew Lock struggled to throw for 208 yards in a steady snowfall.

Mahomes found Hill on a 41-yard touchdown pass on the Chiefs first possession of the game. Then the two connected on a five-yard touchdown pass on the Chiefs initial series of the third quarter.

The Broncos' only points came on Brandon McManus' 32-yard field goal with 1:56 left in the first half.

On that drive, the Broncos converted a 4th-and-1 situation on Drew Lock's 43-yard completion to tight end Noah Fant that got the Broncos into the red zone.

The loss eliminates the Broncos from playoff contention and ensures they will finish under .500 for the third consecutive season.

The Broncos host the Detroit Lions on Sunday, December 22. Coverage starts at 8 a.m. MST on KOA 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
