After the draft concluded, Broncos President of Football Operations/GM John Elway and head coach Vic Fangio spoke with Ryan Edwards, Andrew Mason and Brandon Krisztal at UCHealth Training Center on KOA NewsRadio and Orange & Blue 760.

Elway and Fangio also spoke with reporters.

ROUND 1 (20) - NOAH FANT, TE, IOWA

At 6'4" and 249 lbs., Fant brings a big-play receiving threat to the tight end position for the Broncos and fills a position of immediate need.

For the first time ever, two tight ends from the same team were taken in the first round of the draft, as Fant's teammate, TJ Hockenson went earlier in the evening.

Fant spoke with KOA NewsRadio Voice of the Broncos Dave Logan.

ROUND 2 (41) - DALTON RISNER, OL, KANSAS STATE

Risner's lifelong dream of playing for the Broncos becomes a reality when the Broncos take him early in the second round. A native of Wiggins, Colorado, Risner can play virtually every position on the offensive line. The Broncos plan to play him at guard.

Risner is 6-5, 312. At Kansas State, he was a three-time captain and earned First Team All-Big 12 as a senior in 2018.

He spoke with Ryan Edwards, Andrew Mason, Brandon Krisztal and Mike Rice after the Broncos picked him on Friday night.

ROUND 2 (42) - DREW LOCK, QB, MISSOURI

Lock was heavily linked to the Broncos throughout the draft process, and the team traded up to the 42nd pick to select him right after picking Risner. His 6-4, 230 pound frame is suited to becoming an NFL quarterback and his arm allows him to make all the throws necessary.

Lock threw for 3,498 yards and 28 touchdowns his senior year. Broncos President of Football Ops/GM John Elway said Lock was the top quarterback on the Broncos' draft board.

Lock spoke with Ryan Edwards, Andrew Mason, Brandon Krisztal and Mike Rice after the Broncos selected him.

ROUND 3 (71) - DRE'MONT JONES, DL, OHIO STATE

6-3 and 281 pounds, Jones had a breakout junior season in 2018 with eight-and-a-half sacks and 13 tackles for loss. He is able to generate pressure up the middle and could figure into nickel situations with the Broncos this year.

After getting drafted on Friday, Jones spoke with Ryan Edwards, Andrew Mason, Brandon Krisztal and Mike Rice on KOA NewsRadio and Orange & Blue 760.

ROUND 5 (156) - JUSTIN HOLLINS, LB, OREGON

Primarily an outside pass rusher, Hollins can also play inside. He turned in a productive senior season in 2018, piling up six-and-a-half sacks and 14-and-a-half tackles for loss.

A three-year starter for the Ducks, Hollins will likely play a role on special teams for the Broncos and could also work his way into the linebacker rotation.

He spoke with Ryan Edwards, Andrew Mason, Brandon Krisztal and Mike Rice after the Broncos chose him on Saturday.

ROUND 6 (187) - JUWANN WINFREE, WR, COLORADO

Winfree took part in a local pre-draft combine the Broncos hosted and apparently stood out after an injury-plagued tenure at Colorado.

He played in only eight games in 2018, missing four games due to an ankle injury. He finished the year with 28 receptionsfor 324 yards and two touchdowns.

As a junior, he suffered a torn ACL in August and missed the entire season.

Winfree spent his sophomore season at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas and earned honorable mention All-KJCCC honors after 55 catches for 837 yards and seven touchdowns. Winfree spent his true freshman season in 2014 at Maryland.

After the Broncos drafted him on Saturday, Winfree joined Ryan Edwards, Andrew Mason, Brandon Krisztal and Mike Rice on KOA NewsRadio and Orange & Blue 760.
