With little margin for error as the season dwindles down, the Colorado Rockies turned to Senza the Magnificent.

And he delivered.

Starter Antonio Senzatela retired the first 14 batters and went on to throw seven brilliant innings in the Rockies 5-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday night at Chase Field in Phoenix.

Senzatela gave up one run on three hits with no walks and four strikeouts.

He received four runs of support in the third inning.

Chris Iannetta had a two-run single to get the Rockies on the scoreboard. David Dahl and Garrett Hampson also had RBI base hits.

That was more than enough for Senatela, who mowed through the Diamondbacks order with relative ease.

The win evened his record at 6-6.
