It is time to get the 2018 season started.
The Denver Broncos will do that on Sunday, Sept. 9 against the Seattle Seahawks at Broncos Stadium at Mile High.
On Monday, Sept. 3, the Broncos named their team captains for the 2018 season.
OFFENSE
QB Case Keenum (1st season as Broncos captain) – Entering his sixth NFL season and first with the Broncos, Keenum is set to become the 20th quarterback in franchise history to start a Week 1 game for the team.
C Matt Paradis (1st season as Broncos captain) – In his fourth season, Paradis is one of just three NFL players to play every possible snap from scrimmage during the last three years.
DEFENSE
ILB Todd Davis (1st season as Broncos captain) – The fifth-year linebacker, who has totaled a team-high 179 tackles during the last two seasons, signed a new three-year contract with Denver in the offseason.
OLB Von Miller (2nd season as Broncos captain) – The six-time Pro Bowler and three-time Associated Press All-Pro First Team selection enters his eighth year with Denver and already ranks second in franchise history with 82.5 career sacks.
SPECIAL TEAMS
FB Andy Janovich (1st season as Broncos captain) – A third-year player, Janovich has totaled nine special-teams tackles during his first two NFL seasons with the Broncos.
K Brandon McManus (2nd season as Broncos captain) – Now in his fifth NFL season, McManus ranks second in franchise history with his 82.3 field goal percentage.
