First, Matt Holliday signed the minor league deal with the Colorado Rockies.
Next was a stop at rookie level Grand Junction Rockies.
Now, it's on to the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes.
The Rockies assigned Holliday to their Triple-A affiliate on Friday and he appeared in the 'Topes game against Round Rock on Friday night.
Holliday is wearing number 17, the same number Todd Helton wore during his long career with the Rockies. How cool is that?!
Holliday singled to left in his first at-bat and then singled again in the eighth inning.
Next stop, Coors Field?
Stay tuned.
