The Denver Nuggets added a guard and traded a forward and center late Thursday night.
As first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Nuggets agreed on a reported one-year, $2 million contract with guard Isaiah Thomas, who has seen action with Sacramento, Boston, Cleveland and the LA Lakers.
The Nuggets also agreed to trade forward Kenneth Faried, center Darrell Arthur, a 2019 protected first-round draft pick and a future second-round pick to the New Jersey Nets for guard Isaiah Whitehead.
The deal is a move to shed salary.
