Tuesday night, the Colorado Rockies took care of business in a 9-6 win over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ballpark.
Carlos Gonzalez had three hits and four RBIs. His 473-foot, three-run home run in the seventh inning gave the Rockies a 9-1 lead.
Left-hander Kyle Freeland went six-and-two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on nine hits with one walk and seven strikeouts.
The Rockies will send Jon Gray to the mound against Cincinnati's Sal Romano on Wednesday. Coverage starts at 4:30 p.m. MDT on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
