The Colorado Rockies got more great pitching and just enough offense in Monday's 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.

German Marquez went seven innings and allowed only a run on two hits while walking two and striking out five.

Carlos Gonzalez broke a 1-1 tie with a pinch-hit, infield single in the eighth inning. Tony Wolters scored on the play.

Gerardo Parra hit a solo home run to tie the game at one in the fifth inning.

The win, coupled with Arizona's loss to Milwaukee, gave the Rockies a half-game lead over the Diamondbacks for first place in the N.L. West.
