Enough Evidence In School Shooting Case, Transfer Hearing Continues

There is enough evidence to send accused STEM School Highlands Ranch shooter Alec McKinney to trial, but there's still questions over where that will happen. The judge ruled yesterday there was sufficient evidence on dozens of counts against the 16-year-old, but defense attorneys still want the case sent back to juvenile court. The teen is being charged as an adult. A reverse transfer hearing will continue over the next several days. Co-defendant Devon Erickson has already been bound over for trial in connection with the May shooting that left one student dead.
