Arraignment Continued For Driver Accused In Deadly I-70 Crash

The arraignment is being continued for the semi-truck driver accused in April's deadly crash along I-70 in Lakewood. Rogel Aguilera-Mederos was granted a delay yesterday to allow more time for his defense to prepare for trial, and will be back in court next month. He's being charged with more than 40 counts in the crash, including four charges of vehicular homicide. Aguilera-Mederos is accused of slamming into stopped traffic, killing four people. He told investigators that his brakes failed, causing the crash.
