The search for consistency continues for the Denver Broncos.

They could not find enough of it in Sunday's 32-23 loss to the las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium. It is the Broncos fifth straight loss to the Raiders.

The Raiders turned the game in the second quarter. Tied 10-10 and driving, the Broncos turned the ball over. And it cost them dearly.

Running back Melvin Gordon fumbled as he worked to gain additional yardage. Raiders defensive back Amik Robertson scooped the ball up and worked his way 68 yards for a touchdown that gave Las Vegas a 16-10 lead.

The Raiders would never give that lead up.

Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson capped a six-play, 90-yard drive with a three-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. That pulled Denver within 35-23 with 7:19 remaining.

But the Broncos defense could not stop the Raiders, who returned the favor with their own 75-yard touchdown drive. Josh Jacobs capped it with a seven-yard scoring run with 2:07 to go.

Wilson finished with 237 passing yards and two touchdowns. The Raiders outrushed the Broncos 212 yards to 80.

The Broncos lost running back Javonte Williams and linebacker Randy Gregory to knee injuries in the second half. Neither player returned to the game. Early media reports suggested Williams' injury could be serious.
