The Colorado Buffaloes had just enough.
Frida Formann's three-pointer with two minutes left put CU up 45-41 and the Buffs were able to hold on for the win in the Pac-12 Tournament quarterfinals at Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Colorado held a 33-26 lead heading to the fourth quarter before Arizona started chipping away. A 10-0 Arizona run put the 'Cats up 41-38 with 5:59 to go.
But the Buffs resolved came to the fore.
Formann's three-pointer capped a 7-0 run which set the Buffs up to advance in the tournament.
Mya Hollingshed led CU with 12 points. Formann and Jaylyn Sherrod had eight points each. Freshman Kindyll Wetta had six points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals in 30 minutes.
Colorado is now 22-7 while Arizona is 20-7.
Colorado will now play 2nd-ranked Stanford in the Pac-12 Tournament semifinals on Friday, March 4. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. MST.
